G-Force: Saviors of Earth Episode Six

Episode Six: Momoko and the First Crimson G-Warrior
Momoko st in he last class of the day, she had a credit more than most of her classmates and she got the final period off so she sat in English, bored. She knew all about the story they were analyzing. She had analyzed this story two years prior at her school in Florida. She sighed heavily as she doodled on the side of her paper. She was drawing a small monster, one she and her other G-Warriors had defeated.
The bell rang, and she threw her items into her backpack quickly. She left the class and the school, she was glad to be out. The school she was going to was so far behind it bored her. She stretched out as the cool autumn breeze brushed her face. She was free from another day of boredom and had no plans. So she walked through downtown Celestial Canyon, admiring the large buildings. As she walked the streets she bumped into a man in his late thirties. He was surprisingly fit, had little to no winkles and a large smile.
"Sorry, I was spacing out." Momoko said to the man.
"No worries, we all have those days. What's on your mind?" He asked.
Momoko giggled at the man, she wasn't going to explain how hard it was to be apart of the G-Force but something was different about this guy. "I'm sorry but I don't feel like spilling to a stranger."
"Again, no worries, just trying to be friendly."The man smiled and walked away. He was stoic and man of little words. She contained to walk around downtown and we have leaned nothing. She heard her watch beep a few times and hid behind a bush taking the call.
"Momoko you will be brought to the airbase with the others, I have an important meeting set up." Jemben said and she was ready for the portal to open and take her to the base. Within seconds she was on the airbase, it was a great way to travel.

Late to the Party: MTV's Skins Series Episode 10
MTV Skins Episode Ten: A look back at what went wrong!
This is the American version of the teen drama. It is a adaptation of the British teen drama of the same name. The show premiered on January 17, 2011 on MTV in the U.S. and on Movie Central and The Movie Network in Canada. The original show was created by father-and-son television writers Bryan Elsley and Jamie Brittain for Company Pictures, and premiered on UK digital channel E4 on January 25, 2007. As with the UK series, the 2011 version features a cast of amateur actors and young writers.
On June 9, 2011, MTV announced that they would not renew Skins for a second season, with a statement that "Skins is a global television phenomenon that, unfortunately, didn't connect with a US audience as much as we had hoped," and I'm here to tell you why!
MTV's Skins is set in Baltimore Maryland and it's filmed in Canada.

A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas
Yesterday I saw A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas and I did see it in 3D. Now I generally hate 3D movies but I have to say I enjoyed the 3D in this one. Now Harold (John Cho) and Kumar (Kal Penn) 3 takes place a few years after the events of the second movie, Escape From Guantanamo Bay. I'm a sucker for stoner comedies, I grew up watching Cheech and Chong, I liked Dude Where's My Car, are these good movies? No but I enjoy them.
Harold and Kumar have drifted apart as they have grown up, Harold has grown up the most. He is married to Maria, the girl he loved in the first one and Kumar is still living in the old apartment, smoking weed. Harold is successful and is trying to throw the perfect Christmas for Maria's father. Kumar has a new friend, a young guy name Adrian played by Amir Blumenfeld (from CollegeHumor.com) and Harold has a friend Todd played by Thomas Lennon (Reno 911 and The State) each of their new friends is sort of a crutch to them. Adrian is keeping Kumar immature and Todd is keeping Harold straight laced and boring.
Kumar is still smoking weed, he has grown a bear since we last saw him and he has failed at being a doctor because of a drug test. We also learn that Kumar's girlfriend from the second movie is pregnant while Harold is still trying to get Maria pregnant. In the beginning we get a great cameo from comedian Patton Oswald as Mall Santa. I recognized his voice right away and smiled. Kumar gets a package at his door and sees it's addressed to Harold so he has Adrian take him to Harold's place before going to a party that Adrian wants to go to.
While Harold is at work we see that student Kenneth Park played by Bobby Lee is telling him and us about the new Sharp Aquos 3D TV, and he breaks the forth wall and I have to say Bobby Lee wasn't annoying like he usually is! He even saves Harold as protesters egg Kenneth, this is where we meet Todd. Harold goes home to Maria and she wants to make love before he father comes and as they start the doorbell rings and she runs upstairs to get dressed and we meet Mr. Perez played by Danny Trejo (MACHETE!) and he is a big fan of Christmas. He takes down Harold's faux Christmas tree and puts up one he had grown for eight years.
One of Maria's family members forgets to get decorations and Harold says he will decorate it as they go to Christmas Mass. So they go off and Kumar makes his way to Harold's nice house. Inside the package is a fat joint and Kumar lights it up, Harold freaks out and throws it out the window only for it to magically fly back and hit the Christmas tree and it burns down. This is the point the shows this movie is not really based in reality and it works.
Harold kicks Kumar out, he asks Todd to help him get a new tree and Kumar goes off with Adrian to get Harold a tree. The entirety of the movie much like the first is a long, funny adventure filled with drugs, women and NPH. There is a few small sub plots that end with great punchlines and the movie actually moves at a good pace.
They poke fun at 3D the entire movie, the use it gratuitously and that's why I enjoyed seeing it in 3D. The movie is not based in reality and some moments feel like a cartoon but that happened in the first movie
but that is part of the charm in the Harold and Kumar trilogy. I have enjoyed the series and seeing this finale, I assume they do make a joke about a possibility of a fourth one but I doubt it. You can tell the actors had a great time while filming. Is the story amazing or original? No it pokes fun at the troupes of buddy movies, Christmas movies and rolls with the stoner jokes. There is even a great claymation moment, I don't want to spoil it because it is funny and very well animated. The original writers have stayed with the series for all three movies, unlike some series where the writer or director leaves, this is not one of those movies. So you can feel the love for the characters and the humor has stayed the same.
If you love gratuitous 3D effects, jokes about drugs and buddy comedies you will enjoy the movie. If you loved the other Harold and Kumars you will really love this movie. But if you didn't enjoy the other movies this one won't win you over. So go in knowing it's more of the same and you can either relish it or avoid it. I enjoyed the series and was glad to see the movie.

Oh it's so good to be back, I have to warn you, the intro music is a bit loud and when I start talking it is a bit quieter than I had hoped for but the volume fixes itself. Comment, Rate, and Subscribe to heacockorama on YouTube! I thought the iPhone filmed in HD, apparently I'm doing something wrong...

G-Force: Saviors of Earth Episode Five

Episode Five: Eli
Eli sat in class as he was doodling while they watched a video about history, the subject that bored him the most. Eli was one to live in the moment. He never wanted to think about the past, he had no regrets and he lived his life so he wouldn't even have any. Eli sighed as the video droned on about the Civil War, he continued to doodle his cartoon super hero. The super hero looked a lot like his G-Force counter part, Emerald Jet; but he had added large wings and detailed battle armor.
The teacher got up when the video ended, the doodle that Eli started at the beginning of the video was a full fledged picture with shadows, shading and tons of details. She told them about their homework and the bell rang, everyone got up quickly, throwing their books and papers into their bags haphazardly and leaving class in a roar of pleasure. Eli moved as quick as the others but was stopped by his teacher.
"Eli, we need to talk." She said to him before he could leave, he sighed heavily.
"Yes ma'am?" He said, trying to hide his exhaustion.
"You're falling behind Eli, you were one of my best students but now with your new job you seem to be doing worse. You look like you never sleep and you often daze off. Plus you have missed a number of classes." She said.
"It's not my job, I have been... helping my family out. Plus every since the city attacks, I've been trying to volunteer time to help out in anyway. Yeah it has been overwhelming but I'll pass this class. I just need to set aside more study time." He said to her, he almost told her about having to save the world but stopped himself.
"Now I'm not telling you to quit your job or stop volunteering. I just want you to realize how important this class is. You told me you wanted to be a teacher after all. You use to love History, all of your previous teachers said you were the best student they had in class." She said to him, she looked him in the eyes as if she was pleading for him to tell her why he had been slacking.
"I know, I know... this year has just been a tough one. I promise my work will pick up." He said to her, she patted him on the shoulder and he left for his locker. It was the end of the day and he finally had a day off to enjoy.
He put the books he didn't need to bring home into his locker and grabbed anything he needed, placing it in his new green shoulder bag. He heard a bang and jumped to see Nestor next to him, he had punched the locker to scare Eli and it had worked.
"I heard you had the day off, and as leader I was wondering if you could... show me around this town. I need to get out more, my mother says." Nestor said it as if it pained him. He was a stubborn guy but that wasn't a bad trait for him.
Nestor's usually smile had faded and he hadn't made too many friends since he had started at Celestial Canyon High. Kieran and Leila were usually together, Alora and Momoko had become quick friends and that made Nestor feel left out but he hadn't wanted to say that. So he decided to hand out more with Eli. Eli was friends with Kieran before they became the G-Force. Eli punched Nestor's arm and laughed.

No updates
I'm sorry to tell you all this, but this week has been crappy. I don't have money for Views on Brews, I don't have any footage from the concert I went to because my iPod Touch crapped out on me. Plus I haven't been working on any new stories. I failed you this week... I hope to post more this week and next.
