Hogwarts: Rise of the new Dark Wizard: Chapter One

Chapter One: Diagon Ally

I sat in my small room, my older sisters ran around, being loud an annoying as usual and my little sister was bothering my older sisters about magic. But they couldn't show her any magic or they would get in trouble. Under-age magic laws and all. I don't know much about it but I knew my letter was on my way, the letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. My parents had been decent students and had met when they worked at the ministry, they were both in different houses, even different years. My father was older and he said he knew about our mother but she says that she never even saw him. But then I saw the owl, I was too giddy to do anything but I quickly ran to the window and opened it. The hot summer air hit my face and my smile grew larger. The owl let go of the letter and ti flew into my hands.

In the Lime Light- Day 1

This is a work of fiction. {Names, characters, places, and incidents either are products of the author’s imagination or are used fictitiously. I sat in the chair of the waiting room, surrounded by vapid, blonde haired bimbos, big breasted brunettes and a few gingers that were both dumb and had fake tits. I didn’t have a chance for the reality show. I just wanted to be famous, be known, I wanted to be seen on the street, have people call my name. I wanted to go places, I was sick of living in Sonoma California! I hear my name called, “Samantha Graves” A chipper voice said and I smiled, fixed my hair and corrected my pants. No one needed to see my ass crack even if my ex-boyfriend said it was cute.
A swallowed hard as I sat in another chair, there was a bunch of older men and a women in her middle years. She looked stern as I took my seat. They all talked among themselves and then they all gave me a death glare. “Well… Samantha tell us about yourself.” He said and entwined his fingers together, letting out a small cough. My mind raced, do I tell them I dated a prison guard? Do I talk about word peace? Calm down Sam, I thought and put on my best smile. I loved my smile, small breasts that werereal and I loved being tall. It made me intimidating, as Beyonce would say; FIERCE. Oh god, I need to just stop. I thought before I actually talked, they didn’t look impressed.
“Well I have loved Island Prison since the first season, I know every episode. I have wanted to be apart of the show for years and since this is the tenth year I want to be apart of it. Sorry I’m gushing, but when Nina and Jake took the champion ship in year five! Oh one of my favorite Show-mances! Oh but when Charity one last year, without having to back stab, wow. I just… I think her win is what made me want in the show more. I love to run, I work out all the time and I know I could easily take charge. I’ve always been a leader,” I said, not telling them how my ex stole most of my life savings. That was why I needed this show, I had been homeless for months now and I had to borrow my sister’s clothes, shower at her house. My family doesn’t know about my homelessness, I hope they never do. I hope no one ever does.
I sat there with the smile stuck on my face, my mom’s voice chimed in. Keep making that face and it will stick, but I loved my smile so it wouldn’t be a bad thing. I saw them talking, and debating, it was so weird being judged and seeing it happen. But having no idea what they were saying. I had bought a cheap pay as you go cell phone so they could contact me. It was the last money I had but it was worth it. I could go to the soup kitchen, not drive my car and the walking would help. I had to stay as fit as possible, the show was intense. Mental and physical challenges, sleep and food deprivation. It was like the past few months had been training for the show.
“Samantha, we won’t fuck around with you. You’re one of our top choices. We loved your submitted video, your dedication and we have a twist this year. One that will create some magic,” The guy in the middle said, he was the creator of the show Miles McMillion, or McMillionaire as some called him. He was the hottest thing in the Reality Show world. He had musical talent shows, dance shows, he even brought back the classic game show genre. Being on Island Prison would change your life, even if you didn’t win. It was the most popular reality show next to Crazy Continent Chase which was created by McMillon. My smile grew larger, my heart was racing, my life was going to change.
“Wow, I… thanks you Mr. McMillion. Everyone, Mrs. Silverstien, it would be an absolute honor to be on anything you’re apart of. You revived the Real Talk, I used to watch that as a teenager. Sorry I don’t want to be an ass kisser! I just love your work, it’s all I watch. I even work out and watch reruns. I feel so dorky!” I said whilst blushing, I did feel like a nerd. But I think they liked that.
***
I sat on the helicopter with five other strangers and another was flying next to us. I didn’t know anyone on board but was so excited when I had got the call. All it said was pack some clothes that are warm weather appropriate and wear something nice for the photo shoot. But we were on the copter before the photo shoot. I felt like an idiot in my skirt but one lady had a nice dress on. I should have seen this coming. We would have a challenge and we were all in clothes not meant for activities. As we landed and were taken off the copter, I saw the people from the other copter jumping down and I couldn’t believe it.
My ex-boyfriend the prison guard jumped from the plane. Him with the stupid smile, broad shoulders, short hair. Stupid fucking face, asshole who stole my life. I couldn’t even imagine how this had happened. This must have been the twist, the creator must have called people from my passed. My best friend probably mentioned the name of this asshole, Kyle Larson. The man that ruined my life.
